And though i can provide no "huggles", i can wish, on your behalf - that the youth in question will very shortly be hit by a nice large and fast moving van.

Don't worry about karma, it's all on me.

So sorry to hear this, Lomster.

These people don't get any sympathy from me - obviously they do it for reasons such as drug addiction and the need to raise the money for their hit, which arguably makes them ill and not evil, but why steal from innocent people?! If I was a smack-head I'd at least try and steal from big corporations like Morrisons or something, where no individual loses out. Complete b*stards :(

On the subject of bar stewards... our house was broken into over Christmas. Got back from a family holiday in France on the 1st january to find a police car outside. They'd broken through the patio and must have spent a while in, as the alarm was broken. Everything was ransacked: they stole a few things, opened my mail, took my credit card statements, absolutely trashed the place.

To add insult to injury, as our house finally got to sleep after a hectic 12 hours on the road driving back from Dover (after having visited other family down South, and my Swedish aunt staying over), was exhausted at 3am and just craved sleep for work the next day. wake up at 6am to find our car gone, and they had stolen our spare car key! pretty gutted, and have only just bought a new computer monitor today hence why i've been away from Talk Magic for a while. Looking forward to posting again.

also, all of my packet tricsk were left in the car too, so I'm gonna have to replace them, which is a shame as I just recently replaced a few effects that I left on a night bus a few weeks ago. it's all material stuff, and whilst no one was hurt, a few things such as photos on my laptop that i'll never be able to replace, etc. as well as all my personal info, CV, etc.

apart from this set back, 2009's gonna be a great year!
