Most attractive thought ever.
Thanks Farlsy

It was really interesting actually. The lung has to be deflated, and you get to see it fill with air again at the end, it's very cool. Plus they cut the upper 2/3rds of the stomach out, leaving the greater curve and form a tube out of it, which they then pull into the thorax forming a neo-oesophagus.

So there you go - an oesophagectomy with partial gastrectomy. Ask for it by name, kids :D

You must have a stable stomach yourself to be able to watch that!

Speaking of stomachs, mine is a bit smaller now I've been trying to eat less pies and what-have-you, so my NYR is going well.

Grats to all!

Curse you Lommie!!! My gym's been closed for repairs since xmas and I'm finding it hard to shift the festive lard. Now I've got a job interview in March and only have 4 1/2 weeks to lose half a stone in time for the medical/fitness test....

Oh well... 'Pain is just weakness leaving the body', as they say down the gym!

Been there, done that.... (just egg whites though... a moment on the lips and all that!). I'd also recommend tuna with porridge and creatine all whizzed up in the blender... mmmmmm :D

i decided 6 weeks before blackpool I'd lose 6kg (is that a stone) I have a week to go and I've lost 5.6kg so far!

Another 7 kg to go after that to get back to my pre ankle break weight

Well, I went to the gym once but they wouldn't let me smoke or drink in there so I thought what is the fun in this?
I have genuinely tried to quit smoking this year but I'm working in Turkey this week where I do an hours work each day and spend the rest of the day doing nothing so smoking has crept back in to my life out of boredom. I intend to quit again when I get home tomorrow so I'm sure I'll be a delightful person by Blackpool.

I told myself I would stop playing video games and pick up another hobby. I chose Magic...so far so good!
