Hmmm...I spoke to someone at The Session convention recently who had had similar problems towards the end of last year and was forced to get PayPal to resolve it. I told him I was surprised because the bloke who ran it seemed very solid and so it must have been a one-off experience. Maybe not.

Perhaps it's a question of having an overfull plate? I know Seige gave the impression he had lots on the go. Too many pies and not enough fingers?

As an aside, has anyone ever ordered anything from Seige's 'other' sites? Follow the links at the bottom of the NUMS page if you're wondering why I'm sniggering like a silly schoolboy...

Variety certainly is the spice of life... magic tricks, oak doors, and, er, handbag sized "massagers". I have a very odd image of Siege's stockroom.

He really should change the name of his site from Nothing Up My Sleeve to Nothing Up My Sleeve...

Seige is a web designer, the other ones are not his sites, just sites for his clients. They are probably there as a means to boost page rank.

Boo. There, that's taken all the fun out of it, hasn't it?

Just to give you the end of this story
After several emails to which I got no reply
I reluctantly informed paypal
Within a couple of hours (edited by Mods) issued a refund with a computer generated form
with no added comments what so ever.
Although it did end with a pregenerated
"please email me if you have any questions"

TM users avoid this site and moderators is it possible to remove his ad
from the TM site.
I always try to buy from TM site banners as I think them more reputable (I know TM makes no claims about its adverts ) but the community feeling of TM does give you that impression (or at least to me)

It's irrelevant isn't it? He's been treated pretty shabbily and it's fair-comment really.

Hmmm...
Any retailer that has this message
PLEASE NOTE: The online shop will NOT be shipping
orders until November 25th, 2008.

on their main page on 27th Feb 2009 should probably be avoided.

That site looks more like a showcase of ranking improvement techniques for other websites than a genuine shop these days.

Yes, sorry, just my poor humour. Just don't think that Seige would remove his own ad :)

Sad, because Seige has always been great to deal with in the past. It's a shame that people are now having problems. :(

Wish I'd read this thread before placing an order ... :(

I've paid, and have sent 2 emails asking why my order is still showing as 'processing', and when I can expect despatch. No replies at all.

I know this forum IS NOT responsible here, but I did order from NUMS because of the banner advert, and that I knew seige was connected here and with NUMS.
