EDIT: Grrrr... bloody URLs

www.insurancetimes.co.uk

Type "direct choice" into the search box and it's the top story.

You wont find much better anywhere and it's nothing - a rigmarole with a few bits of paper and lots of spiel. That is Mentalism

Insurance company though? Might be tempted myself, I knew that there had to be employers in Kent other than than Pfizer ....

Oh, the other thing you might want to consider is the attraction of both Card Collection and Alakazam's physical shops about 200 yards from each other. Clive at CC and everyone at A are more than helpful (though somewhat eager to sell you a DVD ::) ).

Do come to the Downtown club: we are having a show night on May 18th for the general public. You would be most welcome to perform. Which means you'll get free food.

Tickets are only £5.00 for spectators. Finger buffet included (presumably a vegetarian option for those of us that don't eat fingers).

Moving to Kent

Postby Mike Turenr » Apr 5th, '09, 06:48

Look on the bright side...........in a climate where loads are losing jobs..you will still have a job......and on a further brighter side..you will be able to join the Downtown Magic Club, only 20 mins from Folkstone.
good luck and give me a call if you do move.
regards Mike T

Well, frankly, they are... they're incredibly stupid (...and tasty, the best combination!)

You could probably stick your thumb out to hitch a lift in the middle of Milton Keynes and accidently catch a mackerel.

True. Mackerel are the fish equivalent of Stormtroopers. Just there waiting to be picked off.

I remember a fishing trip one time - all day deep sea fishing, took about 2 hours to get to where we would fish.
The skipper asked if anyone wanted a feathered hook to throw over the side.
"Might catch a couple of mackerel for bait" he said.

So I took a feathered hook and threw it over the side of the boat.
Sure enough, 20 minutes later I was 5 Mackerel up for bait.

Daft things.
