just as i believe every man should have a heavily clippered hair and long hair at some point in their life, i also believe its every man's duty to grow a full beard at least once too...

why not?! most men's haircuts are pretty standard...see what you look like with long hair, no hair, even a flat top!

beards are good, so are sideburns....experiment!

grow a full beard, then take photos at different stages of shaving it off - especially when you do the final trimming and leave yourself with a hitler 'tache...

That's a point. My ears seem to be sprouting the stuff, now.

No, I don't want to have a beard because of mentalism. As I said, I don't really want a full beard anyhow. Just something. My face is as smooth as a child's.

Jake, I'm thirty years of age, with a massive bald spot coming on the crown of my head, and more facial hair that I can use!

Everytime I sneeze I reckon I grow a beard! My point is I wish I had the damn hair on my head as opposed to my face!

Its a real pain, constantly shaving, and even if you decide not to shave you get the God awful itchiness that scratches your neck everytime you move your head. Trust me mate, it's more of a burdon than anythig.

I just wish I wasn't going bald!

Be thankful.

I purposely didnt bother shaving so as to avoid spots, red patches and other face f-ups. Now I have a nice little goatee, and baby smooth cheeks lol

Just leave it be, and let what grows grow.

A beard doesnt make you a man. Its what you pack in your suitcase!!

I got fluffy hair on my top lip at 13 and it stopped at that for several years, in my opinion that is the worst possible scenario; the novelty of shaving soon wears off and then keeping all signs of a tash away but not being able to grow a beard is a right pain. You must also consider that kids growing a tash because they think it makes them look mature is rather silly as they look like complete tits.

Since I can now grow a knee length beard in a week I thought I'd give that a try this afternoon. http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=1 ... =697497750 (sorry if you aren't on facebook and are desperate to see my ex beard).

In 9 days time I shall be 22 and currently sport a scraggy goatee which is about all the facial hair I can grow.

The rest comes in silly lumps and patches and I still have the teenage 'tache going on.
I'm often too lazy to shave and genuinely wish that the rest of my facial hair did not grow.

The grass is always greener on the other side.

You wont find much better anywhere and it's nothing - a rigmarole with a few bits of paper and lots of spiel. That is Mentalism

Beetlejuice,

I remember Amos Brierley on Emerdale Farm with the mutton chops, 'Ney, ney, Mr Wilkes'

Ah, the good old days

That was the days when Emerdale Farm was Emerdale Farm, not Emerdale, am I showing my age :? They used to have tractors then

That's a shame! Do you have a facebook? You probly can't see them if you don't and I'm afraid I can't be bothered to post them anywhere else.

It could be down to your hair colour. Fair hair or red hair sometimes develops more slowly than dark hair. My best friend was blonde growing up (he still is). In his thirties he tried to grow a beard, but failed. I was shaving daily by twelve (dark hair). Its completely natural either way, so don't worry about it. Girls seem to love the clean-shaven look, and there are too many magicians out there with beards.
