I just got this book two weeks ago and have been dipping in and out of it ever since. I think that anyone trying to review it fully will be up against it though, there's just so much in the book from so many different aspects of mentalism that I think it's very hard to categorise. It's made me think very carefully about how I present my effects and myself, and given me a whole range of new things to try out. As someone who is linearly challenged (completely unable to read a book in the right order!), I began with the later hypnotic effects, rather than the NLP/suggestion stuff at the begining. Although I've been interested in Hypnosis for a while, I've never had the bottle to include it in any of my performances. But, after a false start I managed to pull off one of the books more startling hypnotic techniques with far more ease than I could have imagined. Is hypnosis really always this easy? Anyway, although I admittedly haven't finished it yet, I'd give this book full marks for content and entertainment value. Brill'! Anyone with the slightest interest in the use of suggestion, NLP and hypnosis should buy this.
