I ordered the expanded half dollar shell and they are the best shells I have ever ordered. Tango's stuff is very bad in comparison (but I only had tango products in Euro's so that may have something to do with it).
No prep that i know of is needed to use it,
They work just fine with borrowed half dollars,
It's as durable as can be when you consider what it is, just dont put them in a situation where they may get flattened or have an edge dented.
Disadvantages.... None. Providing your good with your slights clean up is simple. The ONLY thing to be aware of is the coins "talking". But if you have your routines well practiced it shouldn't be a problem.
Some guy called RS initialed the insides of mine. It was the best buy I ever had from Ellusionist (and the last as well as I have an on going issue with the customer service team.... wouldn't recommend trying to deal with them I can tell ya).
Hope you enjoy your shell's when you get them.

The Magi wrote:I had a euro coin bite before (from Tango) and it was awful, American coin versions would be better I reckon, just make sure you have plenty of back ups of it secret as they do tend to break easily enough.

coinbite: has a big carved out area for elastics
ECS: scratches on the face, and a high pitch noinse when it hits another coin.

All folding/bite coins have the carve out area
All shells make an odd noise if they talk, even a Lassen one.
