Thanks again everyone. I appreciate your support.

I have been postponed AGAIN! It is now not happening on Monday but at some point soon...I hope...maybe Wednesday.

The waiting novelty has truly worn off now. I am, however, going to have another play with the Spongeball Toolkit today. My other DVD efforts have been scuppered, the player I have doesn't like half of my disks! AAARRRGGGHHH!...still, calm down Tom, you don't want to have a...oh, well let's just say I'll calm down.

Good news folks:

Just so you and the TM gang know, everything went very well. The doctors rated is as an "A-1" outcome,,,basically ideal.

Some dramas and hair raisng moments but a great outcome. I was finished, unhooked totally and back in recovery by lunch time,,,unprecidented apparently. Siobhan was a pillar of strength and an angel.

I;m shattered and in pain so I'm gonna try and sleep but in good nick. THANK YOU ALL AT TM FOR YOUR SUPPORT! (sorry for shouting and bad typos, I'm blitzed om pain killers.)

I have been told that the best hospitals are the teaching hospitals with all the medical students and junior doctors. The reason being is that the senior doctors who do the teaching are the best in their fields. It stands to reason when you think about it. Only the best doctors are the ones allowed to teach other doctors.

Thanks everyone. The John Radcliffe is an impressive hospital and my consultant is apparently one of the best of the best... I'm a very lucky chap and very grateful.

As it turns out it is somewhat of a semi-miracle that I am still trying to achieve a decent shuttle pass, it was as bad as that...eeks! Look after yourselves... ain't NOTHING worth risking it all for. As they say, this isn't a rehersal... it's all live, all the time.
