Royal Magic, doesnt have a reputation for high quality .If your working to a strict budget, then it's ok. Just be aware that on the whole, you do get what you pay for.
Now when it comes to card magic, i would say to the beginner, get a few nice decks of cards, and royal road, fulves self working card magic books, and maybe one of the dvds out there that deal with general card magic.
after you work out which kind of magic your interested in, you could then progress to the more specialized dvds.
also, if your going to do lots of cards,the card college series of books is a must.
