I use an address from my website and there is nothing in my junk folder, in the past when i've used him he has been promt and goods arrived quickly. This is just a little out of character for him that's all and I have noticed he's been a lot more quiet over recent months.

I blame postal strikes

I know what you mean! I've been waiting for (non-magic) items in the post here at work and although there aren't any local strikes, the service has definitely slowed down with some first class letters taking 3 days to arrive.

Have you tried a PM to seige?

Worryingly, there is also another NUMS discussion here: http://www.talkmagic.co.uk/ftopic29267.php&highlight=

Hope Seige is okay?

I do wish people would contact *ME* before posting on forums!

Almost every order (with the exception of backorders) gets shipped within 24 hours (working days).

We DO NOT put tracking on the parcels... once they leave they're in the hands of Royal Mail—and if it's any indication, at my offices we've had three occasions in the past week where either NO POST WHATSOEVER has arrived, or something's arrived several days past due.

Owing to the popularity of NUMS, some idiots (in the Ukraine, I believe) decided to hack/use our SMTP server or masquerade as NUMS' email to send out rubbish/junk. Consequently, we were put on several blacklists. Similarly, the ISP used to host NUMS quietly blocked access from Hotmail etc. to NUMS. Ergo the notice on EVERY PAGE of the NUMS site about 'generic' email addresses—plus a phone number.

Bottom line: If I personally place an order with a company and get a no-show of goods, I contact the company in the first instance and await a response. If I get no response, I try another contact method.

Sorry to anyone who has had problems with NUMS or other online mail-order sites, but trust me—before you get agitated and irate, consider that Royal Mail, the Internet, ISP's and more often than not Payment Gateways all contribute to orders being delayed or lost... which often is NOT the fault of the company you order from. And, unless the supplier is notified of your concerns, they cannot help you.

Mr Agecroft: Your parcel was sent out way back on the 8th. If it's not arrived by now, I'm happy to re-ship, as that is a LONG time ago...

The post has been horrendous through Royal Mail the past few weeks.

City Link seem to be pretty good though.

That certainly seems to be the latest situation, no other info available.
