Thanks for the ideas guys. I'm currently wavering between a leather pouch with a sprung opening and using the empty card box (although I can't really think of much rationale for the card box). I think I'll probably go with a "magic bag" type of presentation and use the pouch ultimately. I've had a hard time thinking up quick and simple routines with a silk and tt where more happens than just the standard vanish and production. I think this is still not quite there but may play well to smaller children if they're given the bag to hold and then the silk re-appears in it after a bit of patter.

I had a riot on my hands at the weekend when i did my own silk routine.
