I set traps one year.

I was told Santa wouldn't come next year his job was hard enough without me making it harder.

Years later I learned that I trapped my dad for a good 30 minutes before he managed to extricate himself from my various ropes and nets.

I should have been a trapper apparently.

Excellent work!

My most successful year involved toy soldiers, an upturned plug, a trip wire and a series of expletives from my father!

Yes! So glad to see many others enjoying The Muppet Christmas Carol.
I still watch it every Christmas Eve.
I was always scared when Gonzo said he and Rizo were too scared, and had to leave.

I loved Miss Piggy and her twin girls  ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fnqYH7hn7po

^^^^^^^^^^
I'm sure the above would be used for innuendo bingo if I didn't mention it.

Christmas Eve: A Christmas Carol (Alastair Sim version of course!) followed by It's a Wonderful Life (and I'm not ashamed to admit that I blub all the way through... from the moment George Bailey saves Mr. Gower from poisoning a child with the wrong prescription right through to him running through the streets at the end shouting "Merry Christmas", "I'm going to jail, isn't it wonderful?" Haha, I'm getting teary just thinking about it!! I mean how many films can you say actually make you want to try to be a better person after you watch them?"

"Here's to George Bailey... The richest man in Bedford Falls."
