Sorry Tom but I can't agree with you on the Ribena. Didn't you know that it makes your teeth rot?

I use Robinson's fruit barley without any problems.

I agree - well done! I saw Penn & Teller live last year and yes, I got their autographs! I wouldn't have had the ****s to perform in front of them though!

Kevin,

WOW!!

All I can say is WOW!

That was inspirational on every level. Mate, you should be soooo proud.

Another TV (magic) hero is born! You showed such courage and dedication to your new friends, the efforts they put in and your new career ....you did everyone proud!

Ditto here, I think that Kevin has made a TV hero of himself. He really shone in the performance - it's funny how he seemed to do all the preparation 4 days before the actual event.

Just like me.

Top stuff Kevin!

I think everyone who watched that programme will have shared the highs and the lows, all cringed in the same spots and cheered (yes, out loud as well!) when it all came together. You had some good mentors but, once on stage, there was just you and you did it very well. There's a strong case for making this programme required viewing for anyone thinking of performing magic. Once again, well done brother!

Kevin,
You were "sh*te" and you were brilliant! In the right order.
Couldn't believe how good your final performance was!
Hope to see more of you.

One of the most eagerly awaited TV shows to date in 2005 for the magic community judging by all of the posts before hand. The only other I can think of so far this year was Derren Brown's Messiah so you're keeping pretty good company in most people's book.

I was rooting for you all the way but up to the point of the performances and seeing the first three magicians I thought that you didn't have a chance. As I then began to watch your final performance, I thought that the transformation was astonishing and I quickly changed my mind.

You did yourself and your mentors proud - a FANTASTIC achievement. Taking Paul Daniel's must have been the icing on the cake?

There's no doubt that this will be talked about for a long long time and deservedly so.
