I have coinvexed and I must say it always gets great reactions. The gimmick is well hidden, even though at first I was afraid of being caught out seeing as its right under the spectators nose.

My only gripe with this effect is using 2 coins every time. Has anyone developed a performance using only one coin?

Yep, James Brown does a routine using one coin, you can see it in some of his promo videos

Could I ask, what is your gripe with using two coins? Ive used two coins, and bent both since I started performing the effect.

Just a curiosity thing that has me asking :)

Hi mark,

Well usually I don't mind using two coins when performing for people who have not seen the effect before, problem is , when someone drags their mate along and says "show him the coin bending trick!", it just seems awkward having to use two coins again when your only going to bend one of them. Why not just have one coin be bent in their hands.

Hope that answered your question
:D

Your problem here is that you've been asked to show a specific trick for someone who hasn't seen it but know the result. You're best bet is to just do a switch here. The other guy will reassure his friend that he signed his coin and you can just say you weren't bothered for the same reason. Problem solved. Or just do an entirely different trick!

If you are bending a 10 or 2 there is no handling, you just bend it.
