Please don't take this too much to heart, but have you actually appreciated just how long your proposed full routine would have taken, with proper presentation?
I think that the bit I have quoted above will take two or three minutes, at a fairly brisk pace. At least, that's how long it took me, when I tried to do it reasonably quickly, but without being absurdly rushed.
I don't think you have the time to explore themes. You have time to do a couple of very quick pieces (like Osterlind's 'Inside the Fold', for example, or psychological forces), or one fairly short effect.
I think the Tossed Out Deck suggestion was very good. If you track down Wayne Dobson's handling (I think it's in more than one book, and may have been thought of by others too), this could be a perfect routine
for the time you have available.
