^ There is some old Chinese proverb (can't remember how it goes) about wearing tight shoes for day so you can look forward to the pleasure of taking them off. Strange people the Chinese.

To forget all your other troubles, wear too tight shoes

The principle being the annoying shoes will distract you from your other troubles.

Strange maybe but right an awful lot of the time!

Wasn't it Einstein who explained relativity by saying that when there's a pretty girl on your lap time flies by, but when you're having your teeth drilled time drags?

He also said, 'putting your hand on a hot stove for a minute feels like an hour, but spending an hour with a pretty girl feels like a minute.' Or something to that effect... lol

Hmm. You've got to wonder how clever a man who keeps his hand on a hot stove for a minute really is...!

Have you ever considered clown shoes? one would hope they don't pinch...

And I always thought that was why clowns always walked around with a big smile on their face.

Use my philosophy.. The key is to not wear shoes or socks AT ALL! See?
