Do what you like, but keep basic psychology in mind. Food and drink, and anything associated with them, shouldn't be put anywhere near feet.
A lot of marketing textbooks include a case in point. A soup company wanted to sell more to women, so with every can of soup they included a voucher for a pair of stockings. Sales plummeted because people didn't like the idea of feet in their soup.
