People still play DVDs? :)

Multitasking will be on it by the end of the month. But you're right, some people will prefer to use their phone or a computer. That's cool. I won't be buying one just yet for the same reason, I can't justify the cost when I can use my iPhone for now

I still use VHS sometimes. There was a player in my flat when I moved in. Can get films for 10p from charity shops, it's ace...

I'm with Iain on this.
It is truly a case of a bunch of numbnuts buying into "how cool is that rectangle, look the ends aren't pointy but rounded" . It is a giant I-touch (technology is meant to get smaller), does less than a laptop and costs much more.

And the best reason I've heard for owning one is that it'll fill the space between adverts when watching tv.....some people have too much money and not enough sense.

Still owning one will make you "cool" and that's the main thing.

I've heard the next on apples agenda is to follow on from getting rid of the leyboard and mouse by disposing of the screen too. The I-block; a thin sheet of gorgeously crafted aluminium with rounded edges.....idiots

About a month or so ago, I tried one at the mall. It was OK, I didn't really get much experience with it and really to me it seemed like an over sized I-Touch. It worked exactly the same way.

Right now I am just looking forward to getting the new Iphone in September when I should have enough cash for it.

My twin has one and I've played with it.

Basically they use it to browse the internet/check e-mails/check their ebay and that is about it. It's a nice little gadget but that is all. Hasn't revolutionised anything, but my twins ability to nod along with conversations they are not interested in while browsing the net streched out on the sofa.

It's not something I would spend that amount of money on.
