At my wits end. (chemistry supplies)

Struggling with an effect? Any tips (without giving too much away!) you'd like to share?

Some very good points Sparejoker and I can assure you I will be very careful when handling these chemicals. I'm going to be wearing gloves glasses, and an old jacket. I will also be working outside in my garden.
My main concern right now is storing the chemicals when they arrive and I thought an old unplugged mini fridge might be best. I would love to hear your opinion on this.

Finally I would like to assure any government agency listings in that any threats I made too the powers that be was purely in jest. Please be aware that I am a coward and a well off, middle class, white male with no interest in toppling the social ladder I currently sit atop.

Should be OK.

As long as it's kept cool and dry (and beyond the reach of pets and children).
