Its just that it would be easier to expand this and have more control on it if its a blog. Thank you very much for your offer but at this time I'm just looking for people to spread the word and contribute there knowledge.

Sorry, that is just not true. A wiki would give you much more control and be much easier to expand for a huge variety of reasons.
You have set up a wiki, but are doing on free hosting blogging software. Blogging software is for blogs, wiki software is for wikis.
Take up the kind offer to get it set up for you.
