But in terms of the actual drugs in themselves cannabis is actually less dangerous. However, I have performed a contemporary effect (suitable to my type of audience) which is a form of drinking game where I have to remain teetotal (I'm not a fan of alchohol). I think even though I believe that cannabis is a less dangerous drug than ethanol, there would be those who wouldn't be comforable if I was using cannabis instead... it is what's socially acceptable, ultimatley. I have also performed a few cigarretee tricks- but I wouldn't do it with a spliff! So I sort of agree... But I don't at all think its fair to say that bongs have anything to do with intraveneously adminstered sorts of drugs- the opiates, meth e.t.c. I think everyone has their drug horror stories they know- but I don't know of any serious ones involving weed.
Im not meaning that all drugs are the same or that weed is as bad as other drugs. That is not for this forum - saying that, neither is this :) . All Im saying is illegal substances shouldnt be used during a magic performance, as in the clip. To be honest if id known it was going to cause this furore id have kept my mouth shut

I was agreeing with you. There's nothing to be afraid of, its just talking; its better than not and ignoring the issue as though it weren't important.

Just to clarify from a Forum point of view, anything which purports to show the use of illegal substances as 'acceptable' or 'normal' is a definite no-no. Bear in mind that we have a lot of younger members and we can't be seen to be giving such vids any publicity whatsoever. Youtube seem to agree with this as they now show:
This content may contain material flagged by YouTube's user community that may be inappropriate for some users.
so I guess they've had a few complaints.

The fact that Carl hasn't posted anything here for over 2 years then suddenly posts a link to such a vid is worrying. As we've had three PMs of complaint, the link is now removed and this thread locked, sorry.
