Or, in true blue peter style:
"Generic smartphone device 5"

Catchy or what?

"People who hail from Manchester cannot possibly be upper class and therefore should not use silly pretentious words"

You could combine this with Instant Radio, and make it look/sound like it actually had a ringtone when somebody calls you.

You can also go to the birthday card shop and get one of the little pre recordable speakers and place it under a watch or finger palm it.

We have had so many ideas fir this. Using D'Lites for the key pad is a nice touch.

Phone in box!

Postby simplymagic » Nov 29th, '10, 12:57

Hi mate.... Great effect - what about tipping your phone out of the card box as a magical gag at the end too! Since iphone 5 is same size as a card, sort of makes sense!!!

Just had contact from a great magician asking if he can perform this at the Magic Castle. :D

I of course said YES!

A couple of nice words here as well.

"Lee has an uncanny Knack of creating poweful magic that's not only practical but super commercial too!

i-phone 5 is a brilliant routine, whichticks all the boxes and I can't wait to start performing it!"

Iain Moran

"Lee - You've done it again! I've been using iphone 5 for a few weeks now and have to say it is brilliant. I almost wish you weren't releasing it to the masses!! Packs small, plays big - This should be in the pocket of every working magician - 10/10!!"

Carl Buck

"I-phone 5 is a practical, commercial piece of card magic that your audiences WILL love! Everyone can relate to the iphone and Lee's presentation is full of comedy and banter. Highly recommended"

John Carey

"iPhone 5 is the ultimate in killer 'right under your nose' card revelations. The kicker ending and the comedic routining possibilities make this a real worker. Im taking out the iPhone 5 contract now!"

Jamie Daws

"A very timely and inspired card effect! Loads of possibilities with this!"

Cameron Francis

And I would like to say a massive thanks to Gary Jones again for his superb easy peasy (almost self working handling on this effect)

Lee.

Thanks guys,

The filming for this has now been completed and is looking great.

The effect will now be called ifone 10 due to copyright reasons, the trailer will be up soon.
