There is no such thing as a standard size that most magicians use. If you wish to use the mini balls alongside the larger ones, go for the 2" sponges, for a greater size contrast. Even if you have really small hands, you should be able to use 2" supersoft sponge balls.

Is the "Magic by Gosh" packaging not a bit of a clue?
To be fair, some sites would sell you rubbish and try to con you by using a misleading photo, but I expect these are Goshman sponges, mainly because they sell pretty much the whole range.
You could always try e-mailing them, if you want to make absolutely sure.
