I am working on my new matrix routine, and I need a large coin... Can anyone help me around, where to buy?

Cards4magic ( www.cards4magic.co.uk ) do a range of various coins - they're in the UK but postage on one coin shouldn't be too expensive.

I used to work at the Royal Mint and they (used) to make a Saudi gold coin that was about 65mm in diameter. But id did cost a few 100 pounds, so dont think you'd want that..... or maybe you do?

But seriously, have you tried a few coin collector websites / shops? I know that theres a few larger coins been made in the past, and might be cheaper than a Magic supply shop.

Cheers
Rob

How about getting a £5 coin from the Post Office - the cost....£5
They are about 4 cm across - I think they are the same size as the old pre-decimal Crown, but am not sure.

Sorry, just seen that you are in Norway. Not an awful lot of use.

Hehe, that's true. As I said, I would like a coin that is huge enough, to exactly be hidden behind a card.

How large is a standard bycycle card in inches? Will a 3" coin hide behind it?

I'm not sure about the sizes but you could try here.

Try searching for 'collector coins' on google. Also try searcing for 'numismatic dealers'

But also the Royal Mint do mail order, check out http://www.royalmint.com

You should also be able to get the £5 from a dealer in Norway (they sell all over the world).

The standard crown size coins are 38mm in daimater and a lot of countries use this size for collector coins (Royal weddings etc)

Cheers

Is the US Dollar coin, a common coin that is used, or an old one, that's not in use anymore? Seems to be hard to get a coin that is within the 6cm diameter size.

OK, I have been searching for a while, but I can't seem to find what I am looking for. Can anyone help me around? I need a jumbo coin that is 2" big (5cm) in diameter. I can only find coins that are 5", 3" or 2,75". Well, that's for magic coins. I have also searched coin shops, and I found one, that was about 2", but hey, it costs about $130 (some very special coin I guess, hehe).

Anyone seen any 2" jumbo coins around?

Thanks.
