Struggling with an effect? Any tips (without giving too much away!) you'd like to share?

Same here! I've unintentionally popped up as Guest on a couple of occasions as well! Even though I select the 'remember me' option, if I leave the site and come back later it hasn't remembered me at all. Which probably shows what excellent taste the system has!

Re the product you're discussing, and in very general terms for obvious reasons, how large an object could be concealed beneath - are we into something the size of a 1p coin for instance?

Next order I put together will include the stuff as there are some other possible applications in mind - no, they're clean ones!

Mandrake...

This 'stuff' is reasonably translucent, and only a very thin layer is applied.

I don't think much past some thread would survive. A coin would be obvious by it's profile.

Thanks for the swift reply, as a result will now move on to plan B which involves a large quantity of Pollyfilla instead!

Cheers!

Polyfilla???

A tad extreme  , don't you think...!

Anyway, there's a suggestion to do what you want... make 'patches' first.

I can tell you more via PM, or I'm sure that our Yankee friend can be more authoritive.

Either that, or you'll be on girders and concrete next!

Now there's an idea, Extreme Magic using girders and concrete - will await the news from Yankee Tom that he's sttarted producing such items!

Girders and concrete... yes, I can see it now...

"...and as a showstopping finale, Mandrake will swallow a Morris Minor, and pull it WHOLE from a small gash in his belly..."

I think even Copperfield or Burton would be impressed by that one!!!

Hmm...

It was just a wild thought!

Could always try a Ford Anglia, but a Moggie is much more rounded, easier to swallow!

True, but that's only if it has these new fangled electric flashing indicators - the old semaphore type can stick out too far to swallow.

I'm practising hard right now, starting with the Dinky Toy version, then the Airfix Kit and will move on this afternoon to the pedal car version. Please advise my ever-loving that I shan't want any tea tonight, thank you - I've already eaten!

Thanks for all that info - very much appreciated! I'll get my order sorted for the product and see how far I can play around with it. BTW: Great website!

Cheers,

:P

Mandrake...

See, I told you Yankee Tom would sort you out - fine fellow!

Not only with 'pockets' (or 'patches', as I wrongly referred to them!) but also with the girders and concrete.

TOM!!! IT WAS MY IDEA FIRST!!!
Please acknowledge in all performance rights which accompany the Girder effect: "Manufactured by Yankee Tom, based on an original idea by Seige, and performed (once) by the late (God rest his soul) Mandrake. Yankee Tom accepts no responsibility for any injury, misharm or lack of appetite as a direct result of performing this effect."

We've definately wondered off-thread here!!! :D
