I'll agree with these two also. It's all about quality over quantity in magic. Of course if you can perform lots at a high standard, that's great, but you would be better off learning one effect to a high performance level, then moving to the next rather than rushing to learn as many as possible. The old saying, finish this chocolate bar before you start another.
Anyway, it would be hard to tell what kind of level you're at without seeing a performance, but I would probably say that if you have to ask this question, you're probably not pro just yet.
As for the subject of only knowing brought tricks, I agree, it would serve you much better to get a couple of good books rather than loads of single effect dvds, not to mention easier on your wallet. Plus a couple of good books would give you the building blocks to creat your own magic. You tend to only learn the one or two slights involved in that effect of you buy them individually.
