I find that you'll get all sorts of reactions from different people. Some will be the 'that ain't right' or 'no way' reaction to the appreciation that there's no magic but your presentation was good enough to fool them.

Take each as it comes as a compliment because you won't get any of these reactions if you haven't performed well enough.

My favourite bit at the moment is to fold a note on the bar when I order and drink and have it float quickly up into my hand when they ask for the money. Keeping a perfectly straight face I do it that quick that half the time people don’t even notice but when they do there’s a wonderful puzzled look as they try and work out if something odd has just happened or not.
For me its not what the audience thinks of me that matters so much as the reaction I get from them that pleases me most. Whether I'm a hero or a wierdo hasn't ever bothered me that much.

In bars I've sometimes had the reaction, '200 years ago they would have burnt you at the stake for that' a couple of times I've had people drop their drinks on the floor

I've made people cry 4 times now. That's the best reaction!!

It's up to the spectators on how they feel about you. Some don't believe anything that you are doing and put it down to trickery. Others, however, think you have some mystical powers and never want to see you again!!

Wow! What effect made them cry? I'd love to know. I bet it was something on the mentalism side of things. Do tell.

I like to present what I do as demonstrating fine line between illusion and reality - so sometimes it's an optical illusion, sometimes it's real, sometimes illusion becomes reality - or the other way around. I like what I present to be on the border line of being believable - I like to leave the people wondering whether what they saw was real or not - or get them to a point where I can tell them it's all an illusion and they won't believe me.

I think my main goal is to get people to realise that often the things in our lives that seem very limiting are often not as real as we think they are. I don't often verbalise this, but it's the criteria by which I evaluate whether I do something or not.
So I guess my 'special power' would be the ability to manipulate people's perception of reality - which, when you think about it, is really what every magician does.

2 people have cried with 'Heirloom', 1 with Bank Night when they didn't win the £20 note and 1 with 'Mind Control'. So yes they were all mentalism effects. Not that I do anything else now!!

I ask a guy to hide a playing card in a pub (without me knowing)
And when I found it by using muscle reading the guy shouted in the pub
''everybody Damion Thorn has came back from hell to haunt us''
(I think that guy was a bit drunk)

second time I did street magic and I went up to this girl and I levitated
she was in shocked she said ''you have to be gifted''.
