Houdini UK Riots Charity painting.

Postby Parrott » Aug 16th, '11, 13:13

I've created a charity painting of Harry Houdini which I will be auctioning off on eBay as of around 6pm BST tomorrow as to try and raise money for UK Disaster Relief, a new charity helping the victims of the UK riots. I will run the auction for 10 days to make sure it can make the most money possible for the charity.

You can bid here. If you can't find it, it's listed under "Houdini Charity Painting". Happy bidding!

That has all been okayed by Mandrake now.

That is absolutely fantastic, and definitely something that I will bid on. I sincerely hope you don't have many bidders so that I can grab it!

Is it canvas? You can't tell 100% from the photo. And what are the dimensions?

Love

Chris

Hi Beardy, thank you. I hope I do have more birders on it as so I can raise more money. It's on a wooden board with torn paper stencils pasted on for the background

I'll go and check with the mods if it's okay. Hopefully it will be so I can get more money for charity :?

Nice. Like a cross between a Banksy and an Annabelle de Vetton.

Okay, and here is the place to bid. It will only run for 10 days instead of 30 as I previously stated as eBay's maximum time is 10 days.

When clicking the link, I'm getting an "item is not listed" error from eBay, and a search doesn't unearth it either..?

That said, a great piece, really like it! I probably won't be able to afford this, and once again wish for a rich gentleman... Any volunteers? :P

Try again, should come up. If the link doesn't work it's listed under "Houdini Charity Painting".

The bidding is at a dirt cheap £15! You will never see a painting like this again for so little. Get bidding and you may well be in with a chance with even a small bid.

Definitely keeping an eye on this, but might have to bail out early. Either way, good luck to whoever will manage to snap it up, and I hope you get a wad of cash for the charity!

I'd be very grateful to anyone who can get this promoted anywhere else as well. it's for a great cause, every penny goes to the charity.
