If you're referring to what Duplicity and I said, the answer is "both and more besides". Consider buying the first volume of Psychological Subtleties (the other two are good, but the first one is especially useful) and Mind Reading by Kenton Knepper (as well as Tomo's books).

As for "what I saw on Dynamo", what we see happen, may not be completely what happened. Why would they show p**-****? It would make no sense theatrically. Everything you need is in Practical Mental Effects and 13 Steps.

I'm not quite certain what you're getting at, I more or less stated two key resources; Corinda & Thought Channel by Jerome Finley. Banachek mentions some of these related skill-sets in PSYCHOPHYSIOLOGICAL THOUGHT READING and Disc 3 of the PSI SERIES DVD collection (see "No-Contact Mind Reading"). If you are a card person that studies gambling bits you should already know about "tells". Add to this the general mention of these things in numerous texts on Mentalism from Burling Hull to Luke Jermay; it boils down to being AWARE of both, your environment and the person/people you are working with. It's not easy and takes time and daily practice to hone, but it is one of the most empowering skills in all of Mentalism in that it allows you to more or less replicate 100% of what "psychics" are said to do that doesn't involve PK/TK or related abstracts.
