Rabbit and dove

hi i am looking to buy a rabbit and a dove into my magic act, but i am not sure what breed of rabbit and dove to get, please help :D (rabbit for rabbit in hat, dove for general use) thanks

I've always used Netherland Dwarf and have always found males to be the best.

Never used doves.

Though I don't know anything about usage of live animals in magic from first hand experience, I read in Magic & Showmanship that the best way to handle a rabbit is with a faux-fur harness (matching the rabbit's fur) possibly with a bright bow stitched on on it to get a decent grip with.

That way you can avoid picking up the rabbit one handed in a way it doesn't like (scruff of the neck is a bad idea) and it looks cute. People like it when rabbits look cute.
