The envelope suspended above the stage: I first came across it in Okito's book--Quality Magic.
Danny Archer has the same idea but made--oh so simple. It is in one of his lecture notes books and the them of his version is golf. Can however be anything you want to predict.
Postcards From The Road ($490) is similar in mehtod but here you have a longish plastic tube suspended from a tall stand with the prediction--a long roll of paper--inside

My son has with the aid of a Ted Lesley idea, a magician called Paul from the USA, me and his own original creativeness-come up with a system :
where the Prediction--if say it is the Lottery--is signed by the person who is going to hang on to it--the actual winning numbers, for safety, covered by Mike's fingers--and then sealed in a envelope to be brought to the venue on the night. Nothing could be more simple & straightforward BUT
at 23 , Mike (now at Lisbon University, Portugal) is at the age where he loves apparatus!!! So that is why we look for the right Chest.
Have investigated Fogel's, Barrie Richardson's versions but----

By the way--Danny Archer's would cost you just for:
1 Wallet folder
2 envelopes
selotape

TITLE: Par For The Course

Hehe. It's an amazing little book. I've gone on about it before, but essentially it looks like a kid's book but includes OOTW, various mentalism classics and so on. Plus a wicked child production illusion using just a cardboard box! You do need a child too, actually.

That sounds very similar to the one I'm on about. Low-tech in the extreme, but brilliant (and brilliantly simple).

thats a bit like the effects Paul Romhanay sells. He has recently bought out a smaller version.
I think that if you were only doing lottery numbers, any of the published version sof a headline prediction would suffice. And there are thousands of those out there to choose from.

Karoll Fox probably has a few easy ones in his books.

you're like Yoda.you dont say much, but what you do say is worth listening to....
