Hang on, I completely missed the Sally Morgan bit apparently? When did that happen?

@wittyusername - I'm sure Derren would have refunded him, as he did in 'The System'. However there MUST have been some clever trick to make that happen, well maybe not, but you'd think so. What that trick was though, I have no idea, as the multiple rolls makes a loaded dice not possible?

Actually I just remembered in 'The System' he bet on a different horse which won, but in the roulette one he refunded the guy.

Maybe I was just over analysing but I'm pretty sure there is a part in the dice shoot where the dice disappeared and then reappeared a bit further down, although it could have just been the camera angle. I suppose the number 4 was put into the audiences head in the same way as the song at the start (unless that was some clever misdirection, I don't see any other reason why it would have been shown).

Before he asked what number to pick, I straight away thought to myself; I bet they think of 4. Reason being because it's practically the same ratio (1.5) as picking 7 out of 10 (which we know is the most common picked number out of 10). 10/7 = 1.43, 6/4 = 1.5. It's the one the majority of people will pick; just over half, a few under total.

The same could be said for the number Wayne picks out of 4. It's most likely he would pick 3 out of 4, since it's slightly more than half, but less than total, 4/3 = 1.34.

She turned up and gave the dog a fondle at some point, middle-ish of the programme?

I hope so... ( refunded wise)
I don't know what to think about whats real and what's not with Derren half the time (with regards to stuff like that anyway) so I'm not even going to guess.

So much for her psychic ability and not knowing it was a hoax.

Interesting you say that, (and this was funnily enough the only bit I watched of the entire thing) , but IIRC listen very carefully to what she said.

It was along the lines of 'This statue has been given a sense of importance and luck' which was technically true, I don't think she ever said it was actually lucky. Which was kind of the exact angle Derren was playing with.

N.B: I'm not making excuses for her, I can't stand the woman, or any others of her ilk, I just seem to remember it being along those lines.

She also said the dog was at the centre of a vortex and the ghost of the dogs owner was still floating around.

Oooohhh, I remember seeing a woman say about being at the centre of a vortex and at the point I said out loud "Cuckoo, cuckoo" whilst winding my finger at the side of my head. I didn't even recognise it was Sally Morgan! lol. I just thought it was some mad woman (same thing).

The only issue I have with this luck thing is that, although I agree being more positive and taking more opportunities may create your own luck and nice things might happen, but surely taking more opportunities and being more positive would also increase the amount of bad things that happen and also set you up for more disappointments? I think there needs to be a bit of a mix, think fairly positive, do slightly more things, but don't approach life with a 'yes' to everything as that can also welcome trouble.

@Mr. Rawlings
I'm a nice person who does nice things for people (wink wink, ha!) but it at always comes back to bite me on the a**e , or nothing happens.
But anyway yeah, people will likely forget about the not so nice things and put a massive emphasis on the positives and attribute them to whatever talisman they fondle before they set foot outside.

Luck is all down to your disposition. That butcher on last nights show said he was unlucky, nearly got shot in the eye etc. well some may say, 'ooh that was lucky it wasn't your eye!'

I'm a glass is half full person. I have a happy life! :D
