When you buy this little miracle, you get the full instructions. It can be done with just about any drinks can and it all depends on the ability of the performer to put as much showmanship as possible into the the effect. More than that I ain't telling - why not buy the routine for yourself!

Not wanting to seem rude or out of place here but are you really ACE? if so then why haven't you used your password so that it doen't look like someone with no magical knowledge has just looked through the board for the username of someone who seems to know what they're doing and is more likely than them to get an answer to questions like that?
Ps I'm not really Pual Daniels but I thought it would lend credence to my point of view here,
Nick

I've got it, i've used it and i dont think much of it. Its a bit messy and not my thing....but it could appeal to some, who am i to condemn as i think its a good principle and David Blaine has made more out of this trick than i've ever made out of magic!!!!!!!!!!

This effect has been around a while, and the Moden version is making it into the mainstream.

Unfortunately, I agree that the effect is messy and quite dissapointing, and in my opinion it's a waste of time - although I don't use it myself.

But if the setup was right, a strolling street magician would no doubt find this trick a valuable addition to their act.

Apart from the usual card tricks, this was one of the first tricks I purchased. As always Iwas disapointed to find out how simple it was. However as long asc you do it with a Coke tin it is great and has never failed to amaze. The setup can be messy tho.

Do some really hectic card routines, end withthe final flourish on the third rising card in a large brandy glass etc.. Say I could really do with a drink, hey is that a can of coke in the bin over there and bam.

I see. Thanks for that...

I found it difficult in my own experiences to find a bin handy (at weddings and functions) during normal performances. And it's rare to see cans on tables nowadays, unless you're at a kid's gig.

Although, as I mentioned, it's a great impromtu in a street magic routine, I'd imagine!

Street or Office impromptu magic is best suited to this i agree. Unfortunately my kids tell people I will do it, which then puts people on their guard. The last time someone marked the cans, and i didn't notice, that took a lot of explaining, and they were 7up cans which made it even harder.

However i would say that when done in the right circumstances it is a mind blower!!!!.

Also, a little tip I've read before...

After the 'restoration'... empty the can into a glass (to show it's real) and immediately crush the can, put it down and take a swig.

This has some convincing uses:

1: It proves that the can is not a gimmick - because you're effectively destroying it. It also dispels the myth that the can is re-usable or inflatable or made of plastic etc...

2: It hides the handling quite well, and even leaves the can in a state where it can be inspected.

3: It shows that the liquid inside is real.

4: It gives you a well deserved drink during your act!

Another tip: when preparing the can (I think you know what I mean...), wrap it in a towel before you do the ???. This eliminates creasing.
