Old time magicians, IN THE PUBLIC's EYE, are Victorian Dale.
And you should not laugh at 2 young magicians who are trying to breakaway from the boring, so called traditional magicians' outfits & style.
They may have gone to the Past for clothes but they do have an angle on why they often use more modern magic effects.
You have surprised & disappointed me Dale, with your remark--It smacks of the attitude that a number of magicians on Magic Bunny and Talk Magic had to the young, streetwise, Dynamo, when he first appeared on the scene.
And I remember saying several times--WAIT--give the lad a chance--he WILL get somewhere.
Now he may not be, dress wise, presentation wise to every magician's taste but many members of the Public I meet, ALWAYS bring his name up ( 3 such this week) and tell me how incredible he is in their eyes.
I wonder if the amateurs who ran him down are as successful?
