As an aside, and very apt considering your avatar and sig, I just finished reading my first Lovecraft novella on the train this morning (At the Mountains of Madness). Very good it was too. 130 pages of steadily building suspense and tension, a masterclass in pacing and sinister foreshadowing. I'm hooked. Got the "Case of Charles Dexter Ward" up next...
