Yeah, I don't like IT with cards, I pretty much think it is a waste of time and effort. The only exception to that is Kundalini rising by Jeff McBride. Easy to perform, used correctly the loops last a long time. It happens in the spectators hands. Any ot the haunted deck routines I've seen that don't wind up on the bottom of the junk drawer don't use IT. Helecopter card? really has no value live and its obvious. Having a card fly out of the deck make 40 revolutions in the air and you catch it? More impressive without any gimmick and pretty easy to do once you have the knack down.
Again all my opinion. Take it or leave it. As for the best thread, I don't know everybody has their own opinion. Except for Kundalini rising I don't use elastic thread so my advice is not the best.
