It's not the voltage that kills :wink:

Alot of what Blaine does isn't really magic in my mind (am I alone in thinking this?) It really centres on feats of endurance etc. Whilst admirable, I see no magcal value in what he does now?

If endurance is the key, then I would point out to any talent scout that I had to listen to my ex wife go on and on and on and on and on all the time like a sustained attack of relentless never-ending grief. But, I was never given my own show or a 24 hour webcam. Perhaps that's where I went wrong?

:D

Yeah agree kevmundo with your comments, were have those great days of streetmagic gone? He seems to be missing the point here, isn't he a magician? :(

He's still a good magician but seems to prefer stunts and publicity stuff. Perhaps he gets more sponsorship from these than performing magic?

At the risk of exposing his cunning stunt:

< 5mA = a jolt
5mA = a strong jolt
5 - 30mA a serious electric shock
> 50mA = possibly fatal
100mA = definitely dead

So, he's well below 5mA.

Yeah I suppose your right Mandrake, the money opportunity for this type of act would probably fetch a good pay packet. Also Tomo, your theory on the voltage intake is very true :lol: Should be interesting to see this later when its available.. Regards Garry. 8)

Quite. It's not like he would charge head-first into something like this...

Ohm my god, I can't believe the power of these jokes.

I am Faraday of Borg. Resistance is volts divided by amps.

Etcetera ad nauseum...

In the trailer it looks like he's wearing some sort of faraday cage inbetween the two tesla coils. Wouldn't that mean he wasn't really being exposed to any electricity at all? Or is he going to take it off and let the current run through him?

See being a youngling in the 90's Blaine was a bit of a magic god to me, and i do wish he would return to doing magic alongside these big publicity stunts....

Tis a shame, cos he was quite good back in the day, the old mystic weirdo!

Now he's just a weirdo!

Much love
