I do know a magician who made his own using a glass cutter. He uses the bottle in a very cool coin and bottle routine. He borrows the bottle and the coin, coin ends up in bottle, coin leaves bottle. Bottom of bottle comes off everybody laughs. Bottom of bottle is vanished. Coin ends up back in bottle, bottle is whole again and given to a spectator to keep with coin inside.

The idea was to take a wine bottle and cut the upper section off so the lower half could be used as a vase or some sort of container. I'd like to bet that such items may still be available via the craft and hobby shops. As long as the sharp edges are made safe and you don't breath in any glass dust when cutting the bottle you could produce these quite quickly and have the join wherever you think it best.
