Rob - you're weird! How you can describe the game as unplayable is completely beyond comprehension. Each to his own - but your view is not shared by the overwhelming and vast majority of people that have played and reviewed it. For example, Gamerankings.com which aggregates all major gaming review sites gives Burnout on the PSP an average score of 86%! But heh - maybe you're right and everyone else is wrong!

SirRawlins Nintendo Fanboy wrote:OK, ok ... lets forget about games for the moment, lets talk moveis ... alot of money for a movie? does'nt seem to make any sense what so ever, when and where would you find the time to watch a movie while your're mobile enough to need a "portable" it just doesnt work.
Maybe you don't want to watch movies on the go, but all the people I see with portable DVD players and laptops watching movies on the train/plane seem to disagree! And remember it's a BONUS you get from buying the PSP NOT the reason you buy one. The DS doesn't do it as standard.
SirRawlins Nintendo Fanboy wrote:I think you're unerestimating the abilities of a pocket PC my friend ... check out the latest tech specs for an HP Ipaq or similar price to the PSP, I'm sure you will find the hardware specification is almost identicle, no, infact ... the HP has a reasonable amount more computing power.
You've missed the point massivly old chap! Care to show me some screenshots of the games you're playing on the Ipaq? One is for playing games the other isn't - you're not comparing apples with apples. End of story.
SirRawlins Nintendo Fanboy wrote:With the wide variety of software availble for the pocket pc it is far more versatile than the PSP.
But that's not point???? Duh??! This is a debate about portable gaming consoles, NOT PDA's remember!
SirRawlins Nintendo Fanboy wrote:I cant deny the sales figuires for the console are impressive ... but so were those the ferbie, tamagochie, stretch armstrong, pogs, panini stickers and all the other playground fads.
Good to see you accepted the facts for a change! Face it - the PSP is much much more popular in the UK, as reflected in it's sales figures, it costs more than the DS but it's selling twice as much - why is that? because it's just plain better. But heh - maybe everyone's wrong and you're right!

SirRawlins Nintendo Fanboy wrote:Sales figures dont reflect the quality of somthing,... how many people thought communism was a good idea?
Irrelvant! How do you measure the success of something then? Market share and sales in console terms - that's how everybody who works in the games industry does - but apparently you don't - still never mind eh!
SirRawlins Nintendo Fanboy wrote:only time will tell which of us is right ... i've got 10quid that says its me!
I'll happily have £50 it's me - lets use market share and total sales and come back in a year - I'm serious!
Still you go back to playing your N64 ports and tetris on your IPaq and report back when you're bored!
