I have nothing to add to this discussion, but I have added a comment to the copyright thread which is related, so I thought it only polite to put a link in.

I've watched the clip.

The question is not COULD I release a DVD, but SHOULD I.

I have 30+ magic tapes and DVD and seen many many more over the years - the bottom line here, however unpaletable it may be, is that you are not YET good enough to release a decent product.

I would urge you, very strongly, for the sake of protecting the quality of magic teaching not to release it - you're just not ready.

If you doubt any of our judgements - go and show your clip to a working professional card magician - if they're honest with you they'll tell you the same thing.

Ask yourself a question, are a group of individuals with a shared interest in magic who have posted here all wrong and you right?

For an additional point of view from a well respected professional, have look at http://www.online-visions.com/pro-files/0511trash.html . It may sound a wee bit harsh but it's good solid advice!
