Struggling with an effect? Any tips (without giving too much away!) you'd like to share?

Doing a trick twice and having someone figure it out takes the fun out of it for everyone, and that is no fun. I learnt that the hard way. She will respect you more in the morning if you if you kept her guessing.....about the magic trick that is.

Doing the trick once is entertainment, doing it twice is education. Cant remember who said that but its what i always think when asked to do a trick again. I agree with everyone here who says move onto another effect. Simply saying 'You liked that one did ya? Well you'll love this one' or something like that will soon turn their attention away from the trick you just did.

I was born with Multiple Personality Disorder. Luckily, they are all me, they just dont always get along...

tow days ago I showed my friends a magic trick
(you have to set up the deck for it)

my Friend thought I have powers
so
some tricks can be showen twice if you can change it a bit
and some can not be reapeted!!!!!

can anybody tell me a name of book that teaches you how to "controll" someone mind?
like to make him forget a card or the alpha bet you know stuff like these
or how to build a memory in someones mind without having it ?
