btw if people are still unsure, the DVD comes with the gimmick and you supply your own ring. Cyrils version is unbelieveable. He shows his hand completely clean which is pretty amazing. It probably is impossible but to be able to do something that clean, it has to be sleight of hand.

I don't understand the language, but was the salt a force? Or could she have chosen the pepper?

She had a choice. There was actually a point in the video when he stopped, the salt shaker half-way through the table. He then pulled more and it simply came out.

Hi everyone..

I'm looking to buy this (at last) and just have one question for those who have it. On the site it sayes that this is done initially with an opaque surface and then something transparent like glass.

Is this true (do I need to do it through an opaque surface first) or can I just do it straight away with a glass surface.

Thanks

Slippery

I saw this and made my own method as i wasn`t prepared to pay £45 for something i could put together for a fraction of that....

I am hoping to upload a video of my version soon....

I penetrate a sign coin in my version.

The trick is limited in the fact for it to seem not set up a glass table is needed....i have done this in a restaurant for friends that had glass tables so it made it seem impromptu...rather than pulling out a sheet of glass.

In the right setting this trick astounds people.....and i let the spec take the signed coin out....

I don`t know the method for melting point so can`t comment to much on that.

I saw some videos of the melting point .. and it seemst to be a nice trick ... after all the duscussions I am not sure what is really true now ....

so

1. Do you really need a ring .. or is it possible with no ring ?
(cause I know allready a version with ring)

2. Can you do the trick straight away in the middle of a performance ... or do you need some preperations before you can perform?

3. How clean is it really .. can you show the 2nd hand clean before you start the performance ?

I would be very happy for any answers .. It yould help me tio decide if I will buy it or not

Melting point can be performed in many ways, one way is u have a gimmicked coin and magnetic ring (as of course coins can not be picked up by magnets so u have to use gimmicked). second way is normal coin and have a stick substance on your hand. I would very much like to know the other way so please post reply on how to do it.

Sorry but we don't post 'how to do it' things on TM, just hints and tips about performance etc.

It never ceases to amaze me how newly registered members just come right out and blatantly ask how an effect is achieved. I bet the mods are wondering why they bothered to make the "rules and etiquette" post; mind you, it's had over 14,000 views so someone must be reading it!

Sorry to open this topic after so long, but i thought it was better than a whole new topic.
Just 3 quick questions. Fristly, could this be done through a window?
Secondly, is there more than one coin used in the effect?
And finally, can the coin be melted through on to a spectators hand without too much trouble?

Answers would be very much appreciated. Thanks

Ben
