Well, my name has a very long story behind it.

I was joining this site called Talk Magic (Many of you may have heard of it), and I didn't have a screen name as i was fed up with the one I used to use.

So I thought of something to do with cards, Ace.

Then I thought of my name, which took quite a lot of thinking about , Kev

Then I thought, "Ah! I need a word to join them together!"

So I thought of 'Of'

Something to tell to my grandchildren, eh?

:D

I used to be a Ringmaster with Circus Ricardo and couldn't come up with a name that suited the character I played (he was a villainous cowardly cheat, but charming with it). For over a year I didn't have a character name, I was just known as The Ringmaster.

Than I read 'The Flashman Chronicles', called myself Flash/Flashy after the villainous Flashman for a laugh and ithe name just kinda stuck...

The only problem is that people do Queen impressions to me the whole time "Flash.. Ah haa.. Saviour of the universe' :D

EckoZero - Long running internet handle now. Can't remember where exsctly the whole name comes from but the Ecko part was all to do with a rock concert talent show, an extremely embarassed band, the alphabet and a pen...

Basically, we were due to perform a song for this charity rock talent contest thingy in secondary school.
All the band, as well as me were petrified so we decided that we wouldn't call ourselves our real names on stage. That way only people who actually knew us, would know who we were and there'd be no "Oi, Tim, you suck at guitar!" or "John can't sing!" for example from the little hoodlum year 7/8s. So we wrote down the alphabet on a piece of paper closed our eyes and poked the pen four times.

I got K-O-C-E and thought "Coke" was boring. Ecko sounds like a real word so I think that worked better. Tim unfortunately got Z-S-I-B and subsequently became known forvermore as "Sbiz" (Pronounced like Spiz, but the P being thicker...)

Zero is a name of a Smashing Pumpkins song, I know that much, but I really can't remember why I put it as part of my name one time. Or why it stuck.

But it did!

[edit] I'm not John by the way... [/edit]

You wont find much better anywhere and it's nothing - a rigmarole with a few bits of paper and lots of spiel. That is Mentalism

I don't do many hanky tricks - Silk's my surname.

First name is Matt, so not only do I have a ready-made stage name, I'm a living contradiction in terms too. :)
