Yeah I think you would have to either know before hand or just hope they don't. Most people don't have them, but you're right, it could turn out very badly if you were unlucky. But I suppose it's just the same with using very powerful magnets next to them.

I don't think this is safe for someone with a peacemaker. It may be safe for a peacemaker but giving a shock (also he doesn't expect any) who has a heart disaese is a one way ticket I think.

Just a thought but is the shock capability increased if you were to use a few a these at the same time?
The only reasonm I ask this is the list Dat sent me is quite extensive and I reckon it'd be quicker with high voltage.

Is it true that one can use this device to "charge" an item like a metal teaspoon and then put it down ready for use, so that there is no actual need for physical contact between yourself and the spec?

If so, it gives me an idea for a great effect.
