Struggling with an effect? Any tips (without giving too much away!) you'd like to share?

My special effects company offers a glue called "Prosaide", it is for prosthetic appliances and is sticky as "Hay-yell" and very flexible.

It is pricey but goes a long way. It is water based when wet but water proof when dry. I use it for ALL my gaffing.

I'm aware it is probably an old idea but I thought it would look good to use a raven to pick out a selected card from a spread pack.

I have made some shim cards .... roughly 1.600 or so. They sell quite well. Have a look http://www.magicbycardmaker.com/pageID_2439972.html

And yes, rubber cement is the way to go .... + some tricky finesse in making the card 8)

:) I decided to go with Roy Johnson, after all he knows more than most. So I went for Evo Stick and found Evo Stick Timebond which is an ADJUSTABLE CONTACT adhesive. It allows time to adjust to exact positioning. It works absolutely fine and only costs £2:39p for a large 65g tube, from Wilkinsons Hardware. 2 days later (now Frid 5th. may) the pocket card is solidly stuck.
