Yes, it is somewhat fidgetty, and you have to watch your angles, especially if using a very shiny coin like in the first example. The timing is important it seems, as you need to show the hand empty, but not leave it hanging around for too long looking silly.
The move for actually vanishing it is incredibly easy - I actually discovered it when picking up a coin, and I sort of picked it up wrongly (It can be done exactly as when picking up the coin normally, with no wierd moves or fiddling). The moves later on to keep it vanished will need a bit of practice, and are slightly finger busting to do without too much waggling. Also, this is where the angles can really be tricky.
With a bit of work, I suspect that the clumsy looking grab by the right hand could be made to look a bit cleaner and fairer, by taking it with the fingers, rather than the whole hand. I've tried this a few times, and it doesn't look so bad.
