Gonna totally agree with the above post, seems totally obvious to me how its done & yet more stuff to memorise or to carry another crib sheet.

If anyone want it & the other one which I can't recall the name of correctly Suduki(?) then PM me & I'll pass it on for £10 postage included, UK only postage that is.

Gotta disagree with Bravo on this one. It is not obvious and if done correctly, works like a treat. Shame you don't like it.

I'm going to disagree with Bravo aswell. I am a 13 year old boy. It took me less than about half an hour to memorise the stuff just by learning the pegs and it is NOT obvious at all. Works all the time, great reactions.

I think Bravo misunderstood me. I'm not gutted at the trick...I haven't received it yet! I am gutted, however, that you lot managed to persuade me into spending another £10! I wish I'd never joined this forum...

I've fooled magicians with this effect. ( they're easy though, they like to be fooled, don't we? )

I think this is a smashing effect, to be honest. The only thing that I didn't like was the production values (mine was smudged, and then laminated!) but I put my own together, and changed a couple of the memories so that the "Cold Reading" type part is correct more often.

A great effect though, perfect for carrying round due to it's size, and just one of those things that it is great to have with you (along with Heirloom and Bill Goldman's Mental Yarn).

Performed it this evening and got a cracking result. He went for Christmas and knowing that he had a baby I could tell him it was last Christmas. Also threw in some NLP stuff about eye movements showing that he was remembering a feeling rather than what something looking like. Banged on for a while and he was pretty convinced

Which brings me to another thing: Do any of you guys have Cold Reading progressions that take you down to the specific results? I do for a couple (bee sting lets me "see" the colour blue, from which I say it's outside and warm, a blue sky. I say it's a feeling rather than something seen and say the feeling seems to be negative. I then see grass, suggest a pain on the foot or lower leg etc. I go through animal to insect but never to bee, just leaving it at insect sting. I let them fill a couple of holes themselves, the main target for me being to say something that isn't on the cards, like location of injury).

Anyway, anyone got any more? Ice cream is a bit tricky. Can the Cold Readers & mentalists help with some ideas?

Ice cream should be easy. Alot like bee sting, will probably be in the summer etc. probably when they were a child.

Their first dog is my favorite. Soooo much you can disclose. ( you were much younger, still living with your parents, etc etc )
And it's kinda emotional. Hehe.

Just a question for those who have it (and for Roth too, heh): Any foreseeable difficulties if it is used for an Asian culture instead? I'm no sociologist but I'll think that cultural differences might produce different memories for the people, so just wondering if this concern might be relevant to the effect. Thanks guys...

The only little problem I see is the reference to Christmas, which may put off people who are from other faiths. Otherwise, the memories are fairly generic. It would be possible to make up a set that would be more appropriate.

Once you see the methodologies used you can adapt it to any language.
