The bottom line is mate, that we as magicians are not here to impress other magicians.

There's very few close up tricks that experienced magicians don't know.
It's laymen we're here to impress.
And if you can impress someone like me (who isn't easily impressed by simple tricks...) then you're doing something right.

And yeah... yanks and aussies are mostly english anyway.
And "pom" is just the same as us calling you aussies and calling the Americans "yanks" :D

No offence meant... none taken :D
And I might even take you up on that offer :)

My dad also used to do this trick where you take a pile of jacks, a pile of queens, a pile of kings and a pile of aces and cut the deck several times and they all come back to the same piles. Very simle... and I use it myself sometimes but he did it again for me last night and it still made me smile.

You wont find much better anywhere and it's nothing - a rigmarole with a few bits of paper and lots of spiel. That is Mentalism

Hey that's a blast from the past! This was the first trick I ever learned! At the tender age of 15 a group of Russian kids baffled me for days with it until in the interests of Glasnost they showed me the secret from beyond the iron curtain, how the Jedi's got hold of it is anyones guess (maybe George Lucas digitally remastered the trick for the 21st century)...

Hehe I wonder if its the same way i do it, is the way you were taught by your jedi master angle sensetive? A few people have been confused the way i do it to another method which is angle sensetive.

The angle of your brain is important but not the angle of the spectators eyes (that's my way of saying it's the same method you use)! And if you want further proof, lets just say it uses ' the force' shall we...

Nah i dont need any proof, using the 'force' dont tell me much, as i said several other people thought it was done a certain way and boy were they wrong :) Not to say the same goes for you, but if you think u know the real way i do it send me a whim.
