Nicely done mate. I'd suggest making it look like less of a big deal that you're "placing" the coin into your left hand. There was too much right hand movement. I understand that this is probably to give you time for "the move" to take place but try the method I showed you yesterday (Sankey's version - also suggested by Pitto) as it's much easier and quicker therefore you won't need to make any extra movement to cover it.

Keep up the good work though.

Thanks mate....
Now, anyone remember which Sankey DVD this was taught on? lol
Am gonna practice that bit, and then with the Ramsey subtlety as well I'll make a new and improved video either tonight or tomorrow! :D

You wont find much better anywhere and it's nothing - a rigmarole with a few bits of paper and lots of spiel. That is Mentalism

Comments On Version 2:
Perhaps you can make it look a little more "un-deliberate" when you get to the ramsey subtlety. You almost seem to be placing the coin into the right position. Try just dropping it as you move forward. With the right motion it should be invisible under the larger movement of plucking the coin out of the air.

I agree... it seemed that way on the first one (close up) but didn't seem too bad on the far away one. Well.. to the best of my memory lol

your comment about not being able to keep you hands in view of the camera and keeping the coin visible isnt strictly true.

try something like this:

i always say caps subtlety when i meen ramsys, ecko getting on well the my friend nothing to say on your slights, practise and adaption to suit you is all you need.

regards your videoing i found that either painting your practice coin black one side and white the other or using a counter shows up better on camera and highlights any angle problems ie if your flashing white youve turned your hand over to far.

also it comes in handy for one of sankeys other coin productions cant remember it original name but its the strike a pose okey dokey coin fountain if you get my drift.

much better :D

BUT don't worry about Ramsey subtlety it seemed like you were worried about flashing and as a result you repossitioned your hand.

Something I try to do is when I open my hand to show the coin (when it's really there) is have my hand like it was for the Ramsey subtlety - there's a lot of difference in your two ways.

Cheers,

Thanks for all the comments guys :D
It all helps, and seeing as nothing bad has been said about my routine, only tips to make it more convincing, I feel somewhat emboldened on my journey through CoinLand... :D :D

Thank you all :D

PS: Did anyone notice the fashion disater of khakis and a black button up shirt? :?

EckoZero,

There is not much to add here that has not been said already. Just that I thought the throw you used in your first posted video was more convincing as it still fools me when I go back to review it as a comparison. Also the way you slipped the coin to the left hand was done with more stealth on your first posted video as well apart from the angle of your right hand. But I thought the spreading of your fingers made your right hand look much more natural in your latest video.

Also, see if you can position yourself like Dave in your next video. Keep up the good work!
