I can see why Houchin went the route he did with the controversial Stigmata trailer.

Ian, I agree with you as far as the trailer is concerned - that it should have been edited a little so it would not reveal too much and hold up for repeated viewing (even though the level of secrecy in the Stigmata trailer irritated me, and I refuse to spend an adequate amount of money on a result I cannot see.). But I disagree with you regarding your comment about not needing to purchase Passin Thru on the basis that you think you know the solution. One of the reasons I disagree with you on this point is for the same reason bronz mentioned; I believe you would miss out on some important information which would help you execute this effect almost flawlessly. I am saying this because just like you, I had worked out how this effect was achieved, but after purchasing the video I also found out that there were certain subtle details that I had not and could not have noticed - these details made a huge difference for me. I obviously would not know exactly what your understanding of the solution is, but my speculation would be that you would not know certain important details that would make a difference.

i dont have passing through, i use an apple computer so sadly i have no hope of getting it either! however i do own the DVD of sinful by Wayne Houchin.

i agree 100% that whilst i could "guess" the basis of how sinful was done, having watched the DVD a number of times, i find WH's handling so well thought out that so many of his nuances i could never have thought of on my own.

Just to clear up my questions on downloading it..

Yes you can download it onto one computer and then transfer it to another to view it (I have just done this with Kevin's help)

Basically as soon as you view it, it will be locked to that PC and transfer is no longer possible. ie. once opened and viewed that's it.

I'd just like to say that I really liked the effect and I am so glad I bought the effect. Excellent.. and definately one to add to my list of favourites.

Slippery.

Thanks SlipperyPenguin for giving us and update on that. I am sure some future readers who have the same issue will find your post informative. I am also glad Kevin finally got back to you and was able to assist you at the end.

Regards,

Costas

Yeah I got hold of him ta Costas, thanks for the direct email. He was exceedingly helpful actually, I mailed him to tell him about a problem I had and when I checked my puter a few hours later I had no less than 4 emails from him sitting in my inbox. Which was nice. I think that some people expect to pay for a file that is sent to you, which isn't the case with Kevin Parker. After you've paid you should get access to a link to download the instructional video, and you download it in the normal way from there.

I use an Oasis bottle here in Australia but I think the bottles in the U.K might be a little different.

I'm really considering buying this cool effect but a little concerned as quite a few of you magic folk have had a few problems with it. Must say it does look amazing.

Russellmagic, you shouldn't have a problem with it just take note of what bronz said in his last post.
